Steward Society
Meritum • Fides • Custodia
A private, invitation-only network for business owners who take their work and their word seriously.
01 — Why it exists
Networking shouldn’t be a lottery.
Most business networking means sitting in a room, swapping cards and hoping the right person turns up. The Steward Society works the other way round: a small circle of vetted businesses, a clear structure for making introductions, and an app that keeps it all going between convenings.
i
Vetted, by invitation
Every member is invited and approved. You know the standard of people you're meeting before you meet them.
ii
Introductions with intent
Referrals are given and received through a clear process, so good introductions don't depend on chance or memory.
iii
Online, so it fits your week
Members meet online, in regular convenings. No travel, no lost half-days. Join from your office, home or on the road.
A society is only as good as the people in it. That’s why membership is by invitation, and why the first members matter most. They set the standard everyone after them joins.
02 — Membership
What you get as a member
Six things membership gives you, from your first convening onwards.
I
A vetted circle
Every member is invited and approved, so the people you meet are business owners and leaders worth knowing.
II
Introductions, tracked
Send and receive business introductions inside the app. You can see who introduced whom, and what came of it.
III
Regular online convenings
A steady rhythm of conversation with the same people, so relationships actually build.
IV
A member directory
See who is in your society and what they do, so you know exactly who to send business to.
V
Your own ledger
A private record of the deals that came from your introductions, so you can see what membership is worth.
VI
A bulletin board
Businesses of the week, new members, society updates and a letter from the Steward — everything in one place.
03 — Founding membership
The first society sets the standard
We’re opening the first society to a limited group of founding members. They join before anyone else, and they help shape what the society becomes — recognised as a founder, with a say in how it develops.
Founding places are limited, and each one is by invitation.
04 — Joining
